2. These Terms
These Terms of Use, together with the Privacy Policy, form the agreement between you and Rethink Now DOO for the use of the App and the Site. By creating an account or using the App or the Site, you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use Kinta. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection or data-protection law of the country where you live.
3. Who may use Kinta
You must be at least 16 years old to use Kinta. By creating an account you confirm that you are 16 or older. If we learn that a user is younger, we will delete the account (see the Privacy Policy, §13).
4. What Kinta is — and what it is not
Kinta is a free personal-finance tool. With it you can:
- set and track budgets on a daily, weekly or monthly basis, with a real-time view of your spending;
- add receipts by scanning the QR code on fiscal receipts — for receipts from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro, the contents are retrieved from the official receipt-verification service of the issuing country's tax authority (you can also type a receipt's details in manually and Kinta performs the same official lookup for you) — or by photographing any receipt, which we read using AI-based text extraction (OCR) — see §9 on accuracy;
- import receipts from PDF files, images or your device's share menu, scan Serbian utility payment slips, and set recurring entries for regular bills;
- archive an unlimited number of receipts, keep the original photos, and add manual amounts such as tips;
- have each receipt automatically assigned a spending category, which you can correct;
- set warranty reminders on receipts and receive push notifications before the warranty expires;
- link your account with one other person (family sharing, §7).
Kinta currently offers no paid features. If we introduce paid features in the future, they will be clearly marked, their price displayed before any purchase, and separate subscription terms will apply — nothing will become paid silently.
Kinta is not financial advice. The App organises information about your own spending. It does not provide financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and nothing in the App should be treated as a recommendation to make any financial decision.
5. Your account and Kinta ID
You sign in with your Google or Apple account. Your account in Kinta is identified by a randomly generated 6-character Kinta ID. You are responsible for keeping access to your device and your Google/Apple account secure; anyone who can use them can access your Kinta account. Tell us at if you suspect unauthorised access.
You can delete your account at any time in the App (Profile → Delete account permanently). Deletion is permanent and removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Your content
The receipts, photos and entries you add to Kinta remain yours. So that Kinta can work, you grant us the right to host, store, process and display that content (a) to provide the service to you, and (b) to produce anonymised, aggregated statistics from which no individual can be identified, as described transparently in §6 of the Privacy Policy. We never sell your personal data and never share your receipts or identity with anyone for their own use.
You are responsible for what you upload: add only your own receipts and information, and do not upload content that is unlawful or that infringes someone else's rights.
7. Family sharing
You can link your account with one other user by entering their Kinta ID (Settings → Add person). Linked accounts share visibility of the linked budget and receipt data in the App. Link only with a person you trust — Kinta is not responsible for what a person you chose to link can see. You can remove the link at any time in Settings; note that receipts already shared with the other person remain visible to them after unlinking until they are deleted (see the Privacy Policy, §3.3).
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use Kinta for any unlawful purpose; interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure; attempt to access other users' data or accounts; scrape, harvest or mass-download data from the service; reverse engineer, decompile or modify the App except to the extent a mandatory law expressly permits; resell or commercially exploit the service or its data; upload malicious code; or misuse the receipt-scanning features (for example, by submitting receipts that are not genuine purchases of yours in order to distort data).
9. Accuracy: OCR, AI categorisation and reminders
Kinta processes data automatically, and automation has limits:
- OCR and QR retrieval. We work to extract receipt data accurately, but we cannot guarantee that every amount, item or date is read correctly, or that a tax authority's verification service is always available. Check important entries against the original receipt — that is why we keep the photo.
- AI categorisation. Spending categories are assigned automatically (using an AI model, as described in the Privacy Policy §5) and can be wrong; you can correct them at any time.
- Warranty reminders are a courtesy feature. A reminder can fail to arrive (for example, if notifications are disabled or a device is offline). Do not rely on Kinta as your only record of a warranty deadline; the legal deadlines themselves are unaffected by whether a reminder was delivered.
- Your budgets reflect your entries. Kinta's overviews are only as complete as the data added to the App.
10. Intellectual property
The App, the Site and everything we created in them — the Kinta name and logo, design, software, text and graphics — belong to Rethink Now DOO and are protected by intellectual-property law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the App and the Site for your personal, non-commercial purposes in line with these Terms. All other rights are reserved. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve Kinta without obligation to you.
11. Third-party services
Kinta relies on services we do not control: Google and Apple sign-in, the app stores that distribute the App, push-notification delivery, the official receipt-verification services of the supported countries' tax authorities, and our technology providers listed in the Privacy Policy. Their availability and performance are outside our control, and their own terms govern your relationship with them (for example, your agreement with Apple or Google for your device account).
12. Availability and changes to the service
We continuously develop Kinta and may change, add or remove features, and the App or Site may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades or events outside our reasonable control. We will not remove a core function of the service arbitrarily: if we make a change that materially reduces what Kinta does for you, we will announce it in the App in advance where reasonably possible. You can stop using Kinta and delete your account at any time.
13. Liability
Kinta is provided free of charge, and we provide it with reasonable skill and care. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage arising from: inaccurate or incomplete receipt data (§9); your own financial decisions; missed warranty deadlines (§9); temporary unavailability of the service or of third-party services (§11–12); or events beyond our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law — including your statutory rights as a consumer regarding the conformity of digital services. Those rights remain fully intact.
14. Future paid features
If we introduce premium features, we will publish subscription terms before anyone can buy anything, including: the price and billing period, how the purchase is processed (e.g., through the App Store or Google Play), how auto-renewal and cancellation work, and your statutory withdrawal rights as a consumer. Until then, no provision of these Terms requires any payment for Kinta.
15. Complaints
If you are unhappy with Kinta, tell us — we read everything: or in-app chat (Settings → Chat Support). You can submit a formal written complaint (prigovor / reklamacija) to or by post to our address in §1; we will respond in writing or electronically without delay, and at the latest within 8 days of receipt. Consumers in Serbia may also use out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes before the bodies registered for that purpose under Serbian consumer-protection law; consumers in other countries retain the complaint and dispute-resolution mechanisms their own law provides.
16. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Kinta and delete your account at any time (§5). We may suspend or terminate an account that seriously or repeatedly violates these Terms (in particular §8), that we are ordered to close by a competent authority, or that creates a security risk. Except where the violation makes it inappropriate, we will warn you and give reasons, and you can object to . Termination does not deprive you of the right to a copy of your data under the Privacy Policy.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may amend these Terms as Kinta and the law evolve. For material changes we will give you advance notice at least 15 days before they take effect, through a notice in the App or on the Site. If you do not agree with a change, stop using Kinta and delete your account before the change takes effect; continued use after that date constitutes acceptance. The "Last updated" date shows the current version.
18. Newsletter
You can subscribe to our newsletter on the Site by providing your name and e-mail address. We send it only with your consent, and every issue contains an unsubscribe link that works immediately. Details are in the Privacy Policy (§3.7).
19. Final provisions
- Governing law. These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Serbia. If you are a consumer, you additionally enjoy the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live.
- Disputes. For users acting as businesses, the court with jurisdiction at our registered seat in Novi Sad is competent. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of any forum that mandatory law gives you (including courts of your own residence where so provided).
- Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the rest remain in force, and the invalid provision is replaced by a valid one closest to its purpose.
- Assignment. We may transfer this agreement to a legal successor of the Kinta business; the Privacy Policy (§15) governs what that means for your data, including notice to you. Your rights are unaffected.
- Language. These Terms are published in Serbian and English. In case of any divergence, the Serbian version prevails.
